The Daurion symbol is not merely a graphic design.
It embodies the very essence of our identity.

It existed before.
But it found its direction here.

It stems from a simple observation:
Wine is not merely a matter of technique or appellation.
It is the balance of invisible forces in constant tension.

In our Pézenas vineyards, shaped by basalt,
it all begins with the rock.
A raw, deep, defining presence.
It is this rock that gives the wine its backbone, its tension, and its structure.

Then come air and light.
That which flows, that which breathes, that which lifts.
They are what bring freshness, precision, and balance.

In between lies living matter.
Movement, energy, transformation.
That subtle transition when grapes become wine.

And finally, the plant.
The leaf, the cycle, the origin.
The direct, essential connection to the earth.

These four forces are not in opposition.
They complement one another.
They balance one another.

That's my role.

At the point where these forces converge.
In their reading, their understanding, their interpretation.

I don’t create them.
