Welcome to Domaine Daurion
Here, wine is a story of soul, soil and heart.
Listen to it... it starts in the glass.

Memory and rebirth of a winery
There are places that time seems to have forgotten and that nature gently protects.
Silent lands where you can hear the heartbeat of the seasons, the breath of the winds, the memory of the stones. Daurion is one of these rare places: one of Languedoc's "sleeping beauties".
Pays de caux
Terre de Vins
Nestled in Caux, in the heart of the Pézenas terroir, Daurion was born close to an ancient volcano. Its origins date back to the 18th century, but the first traces of viticulture date back to Roman times.
This winegrowing memory, handed down generation after generation, continued until the 1950s, when the Collet family settled on these lands, which had remained a family heirloom. A pioneer in the 70s, the domaine planted the first Chardonnay vines in the Hérault region.
Today, this bold choice has given the domaine a unique mastery in the production of expressive, elegant white wines with a luminous mineral profile.
The oenologist,
a creator, a craftsman of the living
The oenologist is both a creator of wines and a craftsman guided by intuition, rigor and a love of the living.
Each cuvée is an encounter between science and passion, between earth and time, between the hand of man and the soul of the terroir.
Winemaking isn't just about processing grapes: it's about transposing a landscape, translating a season and offering a unique, authentic and moving sensory experience.
Organic viticulture,
respectful and committed
Since 2020, all 55 hectares of the vineyard have been farmed using certified organic methods. Each plot is worked according to its specific needs, with personalized care and constant attention to respect for living organisms. Sensitive to the Mediterranean ecosystem, we practice agroforestry by planting olive trees and truffle oaks.
Our approach goes beyond the organic label: it's an ethical and aesthetic commitment, a way of being, a philosophy in harmony with nature and those who enjoy it.

A terroir,
three types of soil

The variety of soils is what makes the Daurion vineyards so special. Three geological types lie beneath our feet:
- Basaltic (volcanic) soil: one of the rarest terroirs in the world. Dedicated to the cultivation of our Languedoc and Languedoc-Pézenas PDO wines, this land is unique in the Occitanie region.
- Clay-limestone soil: balanced, fresh and filtering, composed of blue marl and white limestone, it enables our PGI wines to develop their finesse and aromas.
- Soil of alluvial pebbles: a mixture of small rounded pebbles and red clay, this terroir is very qualitative. Found in both AOP Languedoc and Châteauneuf-du-Pape, it lends elegance and structure to our wines.

French elegance,
between art de vivre and art de table
With each Domaine Daurion cuvée, we share an art of living.
That of a table set with simplicity, of a moment suspended in time, of a glass that opens the conversation. Our wines are not designed to impress, but to touch, to awaken the senses and arouse emotion.
They speak to those who want to taste authenticity, feel the character of a place, discover a deep connection between nature and culture.

Innovation,
in the heart of Daurion
Innovation is the driving force behind our business. We are always attentive to new consumer expectations. That's why we're expanding our range with a new product category: Creation.
A grape bubble (alcohol-free sparkling grape juice) and, to keep with the theme, a beer made with grapes from the estate. As part of our modern approach, we offer our wines new ways of ageing to enhance their quality: concrete eggs, stainless steel barrels, stoneware jars, amphoras, etc.
We must always be patient with nature, which is why we will soon be producing our own olive oil.
An estate undergoing a renaissance
and booming
Domaine Daurion enters a new era a new era.
With humility and ambition, we are writing the continuation of an old story, in the light of today's challenges: respect for living organisms, transparency, responsible innovation, and the creation of lasting links with wine lovers the world over.
Our wines now travel far beyond the Languedoc, notably to Asia-Pacific, where we meet demanding consumers, sensitive to the quality, meaning and beauty of a genuine product. To them, as to you, we offer more than a wine: a moment, a memory, a promise.
The sequence is as follows
in your company
The rest of Daurion will reveal many surprises over time. Our ambition is to offer a convivial place to live and work, to continue to energize this beautiful region and bring our passion for wine to life.
