In the heart of the Pézenas region, in Caux, Domaine Daurion has been rooted in volcanic soil since ancient times. The Collet family continues a winemaking tradition passed down through generations, enriched by the bold introduction of Chardonnay in the 1970s. Today, each wine tells this unique story, combining minerality, elegance, and authenticity.

Terre de Vins

Nestled in Caux, in the heart of the Pézenas terroir, Daurion was born close to an ancient volcano. Its origins date back to the 18th century, but the first traces of viticulture date back to Roman times.

This winegrowing memory, handed down generation after generation, continued until the 1950s, when the Collet family settled on these lands, which had remained a family heirloom. A pioneer in the 70s, the domaine planted the first Chardonnay vines in the Hérault region.

Today, this bold choice has given the domaine a unique mastery in the production of expressive, elegant white wines with a luminous mineral profile.

Laurent Doyle,a new-generation winemaker, bringsprecision, high standards, and sensitivity to the estate. Under his leadership, the wines arefresher, more accurate, and balanced, faithfully reflecting the personality of each vintage. Combining instinct and rigor, authenticity and modernity, each cuvée is a sincere expression of the terroir.

Committed organic viticulture

Since 2020, the estate's 55 hectares have beenfarmed organically, with constant care taken over each plot. Our commitment goes beyond the organic label: agroforestry, olive trees and truffle oaks, respect for living things and preservation of the Mediterranean ecosystem.
